bOreD oUt Of mY miNd
I am bored out of my mind!! Yesterday I found out that I didn't need two of the classes that I was taking because I had passed both of my AP tests, and so I was able to drop them and pick up an online computer class. But OH MY GOSH have I got a ton of time on my hands!!!! I don't know what to do with it and it's horrible to waste!! It's like getting a huge load of peaches that you can't eat fast enough and you know that they're going to go to waste and the whole time you keep trying to figure out exactly WHAT TO DO WITH THEM!! I actually think I'm going to pick up another Institute class and join a few clubs...maybe that will help...I just feel like I don't have any classes that are challenging me to do or be better! I know I should just take the opportunity to be more self educated and learn things on my own, but I'm kind of going into all this blindfolded. I really don't know what to do. I know everything will be okay, but I really am going crazy because there is NOTHING to do.

Choir Class
I love my choir class! As Jessica would say, "I've quickly outgrown Orchestra." Which I don't mind at all! My choir Professor is amazing! She made me section leader and I'm so excited for the opportunity to meet and get to know all the girls in my class! After class I find myself singing for hours! It's one of those things that just make me happy! And that's all I have to say about that! :)

College Life!
If you would have asked me right after graduation how I felt about moving out and beginning my own independent life I probably would have said something to the effect of, "I could do for another year of High School." And while I still do miss High School and all the people I met there, I've absolutely LOVED my last two weeks at Snow!
My classes are amazing! Among my most favorite are choir and my honors national government class. I'm so excited to be here! I just got back from a late night run with Jessica and Jessica (who are amazing roommates by the way) and I feel great! I could conquer the world if I really wanted to! My room-roommate's name is Courtney. Yeah, I know, a Courtney and Courtney and a Jessica and Jessica sharing an apartment with a Kelly and an Emily. Haha! I love it!
There's just something really stimulating about staying on top of your homework, staying physically fit, having a great time and feeling the spirit that makes you happy! Plus, I should be getting a letter sometime soon from South Dakota and that doesn't hurt at all either. ;)
Oh! While we're on the subject of AMAZING!!!! Guess who I met the other day at the temple dedication....President Monson and President Eyring!!!! I shook President Eyring's hand and President Monson saw me and smiled when I waved and then he waved back...he's so funny! I love him! He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met!
Well...that's about it! I'll try to keep this more up to date cause I haven't posted anything in a while. Haha!

Blogging again!!
Oh boy! I honestly never thought I'd be doing this again! I figure no one reads these things anyway, so I'll be able to just say whatever is on my mind.
It's so strange that my last post was about missing a friend and this one is the exact same thing. Paul leaves for the MTC tomorrow and while I'm excited for him I still miss him. His Farewell was on Sunday and he was soooo nervous! His voice cracked once, and he pulled at the microphone 22 times...Jessica and I counted, and that didn't inclued the last part of his talk where he just CLUG to it. Haha! Oh man, he makes me laugh! Anyway, there was something in his talk that really stuck with me and that was that there are people out there who don't know that they're children of God! Not only is that one of the most important facts that I have learned but it's also one that is divine in it's truth! I'm so glad he's serving the Lord! After his talk I mouthed "good job" to him, he smiled back and seemed to calm down a bit, but I think he was still a little nervous.
His parents spoke with him. Haha! I got to say, his dad is a hoot! Haha! He was cracking jokes over the pulpit and Jessica (Brown) turns to me, laughing, and was like, "Oh man! He is a funny guy!" Haha! Anyway, they kept looking at me during the meeting...like Paul would talk to them and they'd all look at me...which was kind of awkward...Of course....Okay, I got to say it! Before the actual meeting Jessica, Jessica and I were in the bathroom singing, dancing, etc....and then a woman suprised us and came out of one of the stalls!!! And if THAT wasn't embarrassing enough...when we went into the chapel I saw that that same woman was sitting next to Paul on the stand...yeah...OF COURSE it was his mom! With my luck it would have to be!!
Haha! Anyway...it was really interesting to meet members of his family when we went to his house afterwards. His niece Sage is soo adorable!! She was soo shy when he introduced her to me, but once I asked her what books she likes to read, her eyes sparkled with excitement as she told me about Little Women and Anne of Green Gables (two of my own favorites).
I gave him his present too: Retractable highlighters...don't ask...long story...and yes, I know we ARE dorks!! :)
Haha! Oh man, I'm really going to miss him! But it's all good! He's serving the Lord and the Lord will make it right. :) The church is true!! ...I can't wait to write him his first letter!! I've already got a bunch of things to tell him and he doesn't leave for the MTC until tomorrow!! Oh man, words aren't enough to say how proud I am of him!!
