President Hinckley

I wanted to take the time to say how much I love President Hinckley. It was such a shock to hear about his death on Sunday. I felt almost guilty because I didn't cry, but I felt sick- like my stomach had turned upside down and for a brief second I couldn't breath. I couldn't sleep well that night and I didn't know why until I remembered to say my prayers and read my scriptures.

The next day in seminary my teacher really put it in perspective. I mean, I always knew and understood the phrase "They're in a better place." or "They're really happy now." But he told us that Pres. Hinckley was having a hay day on the other side. He was seeing his family, his friends, but who else? I bet he's already high-fived all the other prophets all the way down to Adam!! And Joseph Smith, I bet they had a LOT to talk about!! And even better, Our Savior!!! I bet they've been able to hang out for a while!! Anyway, I thought it was cool- the way Brother Taylor put it.

*Thank you President Hinckley for everything you've done for the church as a whole and me as an individual.*

A Whole Month?

Wow! I can not believe how fast this month has gone by! Well just a little recap, Becky and I had our whole date thing at my house and it was really fun. I cleaned my room!!! FINALLY!! School has been totally lame now that all my fun classes are gone. (I had to exchange sewing and ballroom dance for computer tech and financial lit. URGH!! Last week for Young Women's I snuck out with some of my Laurel buddies to ask my friend Tanner out to Sweathearts. Turns out another girl asked him 15 minutes before I got there. But that was okay because I just asked my friend Eric last weekend and he said yes today, so that was pritty exciting. This weekend was really fun. On Friday I went to see the musical "Pipen" at Hillcrest with my friends Sarah, Brooke, and Josh. On Saturday I asked Eric, went to the boys basketball game and had a movie party at my house. I'm really excited for tour this year. Our Orchestra gets to go to New York City and the hotel we're staying at is in the middle of Time Square!!! I also pritty sure that we get to play at ground zero. I want to get my parents to get me a video camera (but they're already paying for me to go in the first place) so that I can bring it along because it's going to be a really amazing experience. I really feel like I'm just rambling now, so I'm gonna go and hopefully remember to update this more often.

School and Stuff

School started again today and I really don't know what to think about it. I mean I'm glad to finally have something to get me thinking again, but I hate how much time everything takes up! At least tomorrow's my easy day! We get to start on our blanket in sewing and I just picked out my fabric tonight. It's really cute! When I get my sewing machine fixed I'm gonna have to make another one because I saw this other really cute material at the store with Eeyore, Tiger, Roo, and Pooh. -Yes Coco! I thought of you!- Jessica gets to see BYU kid tomorrow so that should be fun! -By the way Damia, I'm gonna have to fill ya in on that little detail!-

New Years Eve was really fun! After a day of cleaning my mother's messy office and listening to the Scarlet Pimpernel, we all went over to Danzies. They had Kareoke, fondu, and best of all, Whittney, Mandy, Ashley, Anna and Me all went down stairs and played ultimate spoons! It was SOOO fun! I think I hit my head in several places and the bruises on my arms and legs were a little much, but I still think it was worth it! New Years Day was really fun too! -I spent it mostly with my Coco and my favorite some-what cousin Becky!!!! I love you guys!!- ANYWAY! That's my life right now. Pritty boring, but hey it's mine and I'm okay with it!!!

-banana!!!!!- hehe!
